The Suffolk Sinfonia is a symphony orchestra based at Bury St Edmunds in West Suffolk. Many concerts are given in and around Bury St Edmunds, and the orchestra also gives performances in the surrounding region. Professional music teachers make up the core of the orchestra which rehearses regularly on Wednesdays during term time. Music students and gifted amateurs also help to maintain the high standard of playing.
Suffolk Sinfonia advance tickets will only be available from the Apex box office (http://www.the-apex.co.uk). Advance tickets normally become available 2-3 months before a concert. Full details appear in the Concerts menu item as soon as availability is known. Unreserved tickets are available in advance and also at the concert.

BBC Radio 3 has broadcast a recording of the Suffolk Sinfonia as part of its "Play to the Nation" series on Friday evening, 3rd October 2008. The Suffolk Sinfonia, conducted by Adrian Brown, was playing Borodin's Overture "Prince Igor".
